- The captain of the vessel reports two aft tanks, with a maximum capacity of 2,000 gallons each, were damaged. Based on the usage at the time of the grounding it is estimated that 3000 – 3500 gallons of diesel was released from the vessel tanks when punctured.
- Cause
- The vessel ran aground and sustained a 12 foot by 1 foot gash in the bow damaging two fuel tanks.
